What's New with Adam's Legacy!
The Strides for Adam 5K/ Reflection walk is now virtual only
Here at The Strides for Adam 5K headquarters, we've been sleeping with our fingers crossed and saying all possible prayers in hopes that the social climate regarding COVID-19 would change before our August 16 date.
Pretty much every major running event in the US is either cancelling/ going virtual or postponing to a later date due to the inability to put large groups of participants together in one place. The Strides for Adam 5K run/ walk falls into this same category. Social distancing practices prevent us from holding the event in the manner we envisioned, so we have decided to forge ahead with a virtual race.
What does this mean for participants?
You will still receive your race t-shirt and medal. You will still complete the run/ walk, but you will do so at a time and place that best suits you.
How do you get your tshirt and medal?
Those that can pick up their packets and save the non-profit from the cost of shipping can do so on Sunday July 26 from 2 – 5pm or

Gabriel Richard Riverview Volleyball team dedicated one of their games and proceeds to Strides for Adam! It was a very special night led by some very special young women!
Adam's Angels (a team formed by Gabriel Richard Riverview High School students and named in honor of Adam) made enormous strides in the fight for Mental Health support and awareness. Adam's Angels were the Top Team Fund raisers, raising $8,145.00 in the Out of the Darkness Walk.
